Back to Now: November 3rd, 2011
This is a time for structure. I am making it easier for myself to post. Exploring apps on my iPhone and iPad. Making mistakes, the works. Small successes. Used Sandalwood and Brain Power oils on my scalp. Started back with Kundalini Yoga after realizing how much it potentized my use of the oils. Especially the pranayama (breath work).

RAINDROP & DETOX & RADIATION: April 23rd, 2011
On the surface, my Japanese mother of a 16 month old baby is wonderfully healthy (she has been staying with us almost 2 weeks now). However, I have been careful to be extremely moderate in using the YL oils. We have worked together before she had gone back to Japan, using full strength and undiluted oils and before her exposure to radiation she had great results and no sign of a detox. This is not the case now. However, she wants to continue to work on herself with the oils (and feels marvelous for it). She is a yoga teacher - and amazed at how the oils work internally to support her yoga practice - in her mind feels like outside work meeting inner expansion.
I am aiming to be moderate about what I say about the YL oils and detox in a public forum - much more vocal at our workshops:)

MAKING DIAMONDS: April 7th, 2011
A week after the event, all the plotting and planning, hard work, and fun, Hal & I have reached the rank in YL known as Diamond. Skipping the usual route up and in historical haste, we pooled everything we knew about creating miracles in Wellbeing into the manifestation of abundance in yet another area of life.
In other good news, we are now hosting in our spare room, a young Japanese couple who have been close to the radiation and other disasters. They flew in today and gone to sleep feeling, hopefully, the safest possible in a long time. I plan to diffuse Sacred Frankincense and Purification as per Gary’s email.

Remember to ask for microwave-free food - even if the place looks super environmentally-conscious
Ask when your dessert was made even if you’ve had a superb main course

Spring 2010: September 23rd, 2010
With the Full Moon following the Spring Equinox, the flavor of this week has been — INTENSITY!
I’ve been using Canadian Red Cedar for the first Chakra. Grounding and Valor on the feet. I’ve even taken a drop or two of Vetiver over the last two days in caps together with a bit of Pine Essential Oil. On the day of the Full Moon, I used a little Humility on the heart chakra because I was starting to feel a little full of myself! Finally, White Angelica on the shoulders, a little Abundance on 3rd Chakra, and notching the Valor Roll-On in the juncture of skull and neck, and I was as good to go as I would ever be.

Anchoring the Higher Vibration Oils: July 25th, 2010
Here’s something we discovered today… or rather, Janna did, while we were fooling around with the dowsing rod and checking on the expansion and contraction of the auric field with different states and the action of various oils:
If you use a grounding oil — like YL’s Grounding, or Valor, or Cedarwood on the base chakra while applying an oil like Harmony, then we got a huge increase in the energy field. I know that I do use Valor or Cedarwood in the morning before meditation and before the BIG oils, but when I reapply as I need to during the day, I don’t de rigueur, use a Cedarwood-type oil.
Janna had another suggestion about using White Angelica to seal the energy or to ‘protect’… going to check this out another day… might have to do it outside the house because of the increase in diameter…

Chronobiotic Lifestyle, the Chakras, Color Therapy: July 21st, 2010
Another thing with Chrono way of life is that the days of the week are given over to a particular chakra and its associated color. Being someone who responds to color, I really got into this, and when I added a set of yoga excercises addressed with that chakra, I’ve been kind of blown away.
So here are the day and the associated colors. Maybe a food and yoga weekend workshop is in order? Email me if interested… this will have to happen in late Sept/ early October.
Here we go:
Monday 1st chakra — basic function is biological survival – Red, Tuesday 2ns Chakra – orange — sexual and creative energies, Wednesday 3rd Chakra – yellow — personal power and digestive ability and the close communion to higher chakras, Thursday 4th Chakra — green — heart and immune system, Friday 5th Chakra – blue — third eye and thyroid and parathyroid, Saturday 6th Chakra – purple — the power of the mind and intuition, Sunday 7&8th Chakras — white — merging with the cosmos via the Crown Chakra

Oranges at 11 am: July 21st, 2010
I’ve been on a Chronobiotic way of eating (when I came back last month Di Shoobridge and Claire Heywood were into it and gave me a basic handwritten guide) and googling around I read that oranges are best at 11 in the morning, to be had by themselves, so I’ve been hand squeezing a sweet navel orange and adding a couple of drops of YL Orange oil, and I have to say it is heavenly.

KIDNEYS: July 16th, 2010
I READ THIS IN A RECENT BULLETIN AND THOUGHT TO PASS IT ON.
What I’ve been doing lately, now that I’m back in Melbourne and it is cold and I can get a bit fatigued if I misstep, is to use a lot of YL’s Balsam Fir on my kidneys/adrenals and use a hot water bottle on my lower/mid back. Been thinking that I’d like to use a hot/warm compress as well. Other things I’ve been doing is using oils in my NingXia juice — remember this is my choice after researching a lot of material and satisfying myself on the therapeutic quality of the oils. Also, layering the oil ‘Copaiba’ appears to create a ‘magnifying effect. I’ve also been told that ‘Abundance’ oil seems to have a similar property. And now an inexpensive natural food resource recipe that was passed on to me – and a thank-you to the source!
HAPPY KIDNEYS!
Years pass by, and our kidneys are filtering the blood by removing salt, poison and any unwanted entering our body.. With time, the salt accumulates.
This is a method passed onto to me for ‘cleaning’ kidneys — It is very easy, first take a bunch of parsley and wash it clean. Cut it in small pieces and put it in a pot and pour clean water and boil it for ten minutes and let it cool down and then filter it and pour in a clean bottle and keep it inside refrigerator to cool.
Drink one glass daily. You may be able to notice a difference which you never felt before. Parsley is known as a best cleaning treatment for kidneys and it is natural!
Added after some days reflection — why not just eat a lot more fresh parsley? Seems like you’d get the live enzymes…
